Ross Lafayette Joins Eastleigh

Former Welling United striker Ross Lafayette has joined Eastleigh Football Club from Luton for the 2015/16 season on a free transfer.

The striker made just one start for Luton in their first season back in the Football League.

The 29 year old had played for Hemel Hempstead Town before signing for Welling United in 2012 where he scored 19 goals in his first season.

After two seasons Lafayette signed with Luton Town on a two-year deal but only made one start for them before being loaned to Woking for a month.

The striker scored once for Woking before being loaned back to Welling and scored twice for them.

Luton Town confirmed Lafayette will leave their club to Join Eastleigh on July 1st where he will link up with former Hatters Dean Beckwith and Craig McAllister.

Lafayette's signing follows at Eastleigh follows former Woking midfielder Josh Payne on a one-year deal.
